Our take
I tested the adidas F50 Elite SG on a wet, muddy pitch and was impressed by the traction from the Sprintframe 360 outsole and metal studs. The Fibertouch upper felt responsive and comfortable, though it took a few wears to break in. The compression fit tunnel tongue really locks the foot in place, which I appreciated during sharp cuts. However, metal studs are not ideal for dry, hard ground—they can feel too aggressive. Also, the purple colorway might not be everyone's taste. Overall, a solid soft-ground option for serious players.
